Music Program at EAC

Eastern Arizona’s instrumental and choral programs draw talented, passionate students. We have some of the finest musical groups in Arizona, including the state’s only community college marching band. You can march as a freshman — and it’s just one of the many groups you can perform in right away! Our music program offers an instrumental, piano, and vocal emphasis. In addition to private instruction, you must also enroll in a minimum of one ensemble per semester. Along with marching band, you can choose from the GilaSoul Singers, Symphonic Choir, A Cappella Choir, Resonus Choir,  Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra. During a campus visit you can attend a concert, meet with our instructors, and learn why EAC’s music department is so highly regarded.

Easy Transfer Options

EAC’s Associate of Arts in Music meets the requirements for the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s program at Arizona’s public, and many other, universities. You can transfer with junior status after building a strong academic foundation in small classes offered at an extremely affordable tuition cost. You are encouraged to work closely with an academic adviser and consult the official transfer guide to ensure you are on the correct course to maximize course transferability.
