Eastern Arizona College’s music program draws talented, passionate students. We have some of the finest musical groups in Arizona, including the state’s only community college marching band.
Our program offers an instrumental, piano, and vocal emphasis for both a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and an Associate of Arts in Music. Allowing for a personalized music journey at a fraction of what a traditional university costs.
During a campus visit, you can attend a concert, meet instructors, and learn why EA’s music department is highly regarded.
You can march as a freshman in the EA Marching Band — and that’s just one of the groups you can perform in right away! In addition to private instruction, students enrolled in EA’s music program also perform in at least one ensemble per semester, such as band, orchestra, or choir.

EA’s Associate of Arts in Music meets the requirements for the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s program at most Arizona public universities. You can transfer with junior status after building a strong academic foundation at EA through small classes offered at an affordable tuition cost. You are encouraged to work closely with an academic adviser and consult the official transfer guide to ensure you are on the correct course to maximize course transferability.
Stay local and ignite a passion for music with EA’s Bachelor of Music Education. Designed to equip you for the exciting challenge of teaching music, this degree opens doors to thousands of job openings.
