Disability Resource Services

EAC Disability Resource Services leads collaborations  with admitted and prospective students with disabilities, faculty, and staff to remove barriers through a universally designed environment and  provide accommodations in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. We recognize disability as an aspect of diversity and promote a culture of inclusion.

What is the process to register for disability resource services at Eastern Arizona College?

    1. Contact and meet with EAC’s Disability/504/ADA Coordinator, Candace Lines.  Please call 928-428-8425 to make an in-person, phone or Zoom appointment. 
    2. Provide EAC psycho-educational, psychological, psychiatric, or other appropriate diagnostic evaluation that documents the nature and extent of the disability in person or by email at disabilityresourceservices@eac.edu.
    3. Once the necessary documentation has been provided and reviewed, meet with EAC’s Section 504/ADA Coordinator to participate in the interactive process to develop an accommodation plan.
