Placement Evaluations and Assessments

Ensuring correct course placement is vital for your success. EA offers multiple ways to determine your placement:

Multiple Measures

Placement is determined by your cumulative high school GPA or ACT/SAT scores. Requirements include:

  • Minimum two years of high school completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA
  • ACT/SAT taken within the last 5 years

Placement Assessments

For those out of high school for over 5 years or preferring assessments over transcripts or test scores, appointments can be made. Allow 2-3 hours for testing. Assessments cover Reading, Writing, and Math, and can be taken separately or together. No fee is required.

Contact the Testing Center at (928) 428-8491 or testingcenter@eac.edu for remote testing options, study guides, and resources.
