Ensuring correct course placement is vital for your success. EA offers multiple ways to determine your placement:
Placement is determined by your cumulative high school GPA or ACT/SAT scores. Requirements include:
For those out of high school for over 5 years or preferring assessments over transcripts or test scores, appointments can be made. Allow 2-3 hours for testing. Assessments cover Reading, Writing, and Math, and can be taken separately or together. No fee is required.

The EA Testing Center offers certification exams from Pearson Vue, MeazureLearning, and other organizations. Exams are available every Tuesday starting at noon.
Registration, scheduling, and payment must be completed via the Pearson Vue or MeazureLearning websites.
The GED test is available to those without a high school diploma who seek a High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma in Arizona. The test comprises four subjects: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. Passing these, along with the AZ Civics Test, earns an HSE.

The EA Testing Center proctors exams for other colleges, universities, and certification or employment exams. A fee of $28.50 applies for non-EA students. Exams are by appointment only.
