An associate degree typically requires 60+ credits and is designed to prepare students for either continued education (such as transferring to a bachelor’s degree program) or entering the workforce with a broader academic foundation.
A certificate program is generally shorter and focuses on specific technical or career skills for a particular field. Certificates are great for students looking to gain specialized knowledge quickly.
Every program is different, so we encourage you to explore degrees and certificates on our website. Each program page provides details on program length, career paths, and course plans.
