Eastern Arizona College welcomes international students and is committed to helping you navigate the admissions process. Please note that your application will not be reviewed until all required documentation has been received by the Records Office. Ensure that all documents are submitted by July 1 for the Fall Semester or October 15 for the Spring Semester.
Complete and submit the Admissions Form included in the International Admissions Packet.
High School Transcripts:
Submit official transcripts (Secondary School Certificates) from all high schools (secondary schools) attended. If your transcripts are not in English, they must be accompanied by an official translation that includes course names, grades, graduation date, and a signature from a school official. Translations must be obtained from an approved NACES or AICE-accredited translation service.
College Transcripts:
Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities must be sent directly to Eastern Arizona College. If the transcripts are in a language other than English, an official translation from a NACES or AICE-accredited service is required.
Applicants who are not native English speakers must take one of the following tests:
a. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
Arrange for your TOEFL scores to be sent directly to EAC.
b. International English Language Testing System (IELTS):
Arrange for your IELTS scores to be sent directly to EAC.
c. Accuplacer Placement Test:
Schedule testing through the EAC Testing Center at testing.center@eac.edu. Tests are administered via ProctorTrack and require a computer with a webcam and microphone.
Complete the Medical Certification Form included in the admissions packet:
International students must demonstrate financial resources of at least $24,240 (USD) per academic year. To satisfy this requirement, complete the Certification of Finances Form included in the admissions packet. Foreign students do not qualify for U.S. federal financial aid.
Provide documentation proving that you are covered by a health insurance plan that includes hospitalization coverage in the U.S. If your current insurance does not provide this coverage, consider purchasing an international student health insurance plan from a U.S. provider.
Once admitted, students must complete all U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) requirements. The I-20 Certificate of Eligibility Form must be on file in the Records Office before enrolling in classes.
Once you have completed all seven steps, you will receive an official letter of acceptance along with your Form I-20 for student visa processing.
