Building to House EAC Cosmetology Program and Copper Mountain Clinic

This 19,300-square-foot facility will expand Eastern Arizona College’s Cosmetology Program and house the Copper Mountain Clinic Thatcher. Located on College Avenue across from the EAC Activities Center, the $15 million project includes 12,000 square feet dedicated to cosmetology education, featuring classrooms, salons, and specialized rooms for skincare and nail care. The expanded space will allow EAC to double enrollment in the Cosmetology Program. The remaining 7,300 square feet will support primary care and behavioral health services through the clinic. Funded through EAC reserve funds and state support, with no bonding or tax increases, the facility is scheduled to open in fall 2026.
