Eastern Arizona College’s enrollment growth reflects the increasing demand for affordable, workplace-aligned education options that prepare students to step into careers or transfer to universities.

EA experienced a 2.8% increase in 2024 – 25 over the previous year and a 16% increase since the COVID pandemic.

710 EA students graduate in 2023, while 876 EA students graduated in 2024.

EA serves students from 13 Arizona counties, 14 states, and 16 countries.
With $342 million in annual economic impact and 1 in 12 local jobs tied to its activities, EA isn’t just a higher education institution; it’s the region’s economic engine.
The College generates more tax dollars in the local economy than it receives. This funding structure ensures residents benefit from academic programs, workforce training, and student services while maintaining a modest local financial investment.
