Today’s professional engineers require a minimum of four years of highly theoretical and specialized training. At Eastern Arizona, we’ve designed our engineering curriculum to dovetail perfectly with Arizona’s three major universities, maximizing the credits you can transfer. EA’s Associate of Science in Engineering meets the requirements for the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s program. You can transfer with junior status after building a strong academic foundation in the needed math and science.
At EA, you’ll engage in small, stimulating classes taught by quality faculty and offered at an extremely affordable tuition cost. You are encouraged to work closely with EA Engineering faculty and Counseling to develop an effective schedule for taking these courses prior to transfer.

Eastern Arizona College and the University of Arizona’s Department of Mining & Geological Engineering have partnered to offer the UA Mining Engineering courses at EA. By taking these live, online classes on the EA campus, students can stay on track to complete the degree in two years at EA, followed by two years at the Tucson UA campus. The Mining Engineering program at UA is ranked in the top three in the country, and 100% of the program’s seniors have secured high-paying jobs upon graduation.
Students who are serious about getting an engineering degree can apply for a scholarship to cover their tuition while they take on a full load of courses. If you are an incoming Freshman, ready to take Calculus 1 or higher, and signing up as a “Pre-Professional Engineering” Major, you are eligible! Contact us for more information.
