EA prepares students to confidently transfer into a bachelor’s degree program in all engineering types: including but not limited to Aerospace, Biomedical, and Chemical. Our Associate’s has the adaptable degree requirements for primary engineering disciplines, which coincide with bachelor’s programs at major universities.

After building a strong academic foundation, you can transfer with junior status to a university like Arizona State University or Northern Arizona University. Students are encouraged to consult the official transfer guides and advisors at their intended university.

Kick Start a Career in Mining Engineering

Eastern Arizona College and the University of Arizona’s Department of Mining & Geological Engineering have partnered to offer University of Arizona (UofA) Mining Engineering courses at EA. By taking these live, online classes on the EA campus, students can stay on track to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering through two years at EA, followed by two years at the Tucson UofA campus. The Mining Engineering program at UofA is consistently ranked in the top three in the country, and 100% of the program’s seniors secure high-paying jobs upon graduation in this niche degree.

The EA Engineering Department awards scholarships each year to full-time students who are serious about getting ahead in their engineering careers. Various levels of funding are available based on student goals, financial need, and academic background.
