Getting to Thatcher

From Phoenix

  1. Travel east on US Hwy. 60.
  2. Drive through Superior and Miami.
  3. At Globe, continue on 60
    Note: 60 changes to Hwy. 70 at this point.
  4. As you enter Thatcher, Eastern Arizona College is located on the right.

From Tucson

  1. Travel east on I -10
  2. About 12 miles past the last Willcox exit, take the US 191 exit north
  3. Continue north on 191 until you reach Safford and the junction with Hwy. 70
  4. Turn left on 70 and proceed west to Thatcher.
  5. Stay on 70 through Thatcher
  6. EA will be located on the left.

From New Mexico

Option One

  1. Travel west on I -10, past San Simon and Bowie.
  2. Follow the directions for the turn off to Safford Hwy. 191 (from Tucson).
  3. Travel west on I -10, exit at Lordsburg on US 70 to Duncan and Safford
  4. Continue through Duncan and Safford to Thatcher
  5. EA will be on the left

Option Two

  1. Travel west on I -10
  2. Exit at Lordsburg on US 70 to Duncan and Safford
  3. Continue through Duncan and Safford to Thatcher
  4. EA will be on the left.
