You’ll be in the middle of all activities living in one of our residence halls. It’s an advantage both socially and academically because you’re close to everything – classes, club events, music and theater performances, and athletic matches. You’ll also enjoy delicious daily meals with your friends at Gila Hank’s Café. No cooking or cleanup!

Housing Application

Ready to apply for housing in our residence halls? Our residence hall application and license agreement is available online through Gila Hank. If you have not been admitted as a student to EAC you will need to complete that process before submitting a housing application.

Course Registration Requirement

You must be registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours to be eligible to live in the dorms. If you are not registered for at least 6 credit hours by the fourth Monday in July for fall semester and the third Monday in December for spring semester your housing assignment will be automatically canceled and your bedspace will be given to the next person in line on the waiting list. If your housing assignment is canceled, you will be placed on the waiting list and may not be able to get back into your selected dorm. Don’t let this happen to you! Be sure you are registered for at least 6 credit hours by the date due.

All housing confirmations, assignments, check in packets, etc. will be sent to your Monster Email.

Steps to getting a Meal Plan and Student ID
Before you arrive on campus, you should:
  1. Register for at least 6 credits – due date: July 15
  2. Begin process for getting your student ID by upload photo for your student ID.

  3. Purchase a Meal Plan
    1. Meal Plan A $4,500
    2. Meal Plan B $3,000
    3. Meal Plan C $2,000
    4. Meal Plan D $500

You can pay for your meal plan in one of three ways:

  1. Show proof of pending aid (e.g. Pell Grant, Scholarship): Financial Aid Office
  2. Set up a payment plan: EAC’s Fiscal Control Office at (928) 428-8221
  3. Pay in full
  4. Purchase textbooks.

Residence Hall Descriptions

Nellie Lee Hall

$1,150 per semester

Most of the rooms are triple occupancy with twin and bunk beds. Each student resident has:

  • 2- 2 drawer dresser chests
  • Single twin XL bed
  • A desk chair and a 3-drawer desk with open bookshelves
  • Free-standing wardrobe closet
  • Adjustable space under each bed for storage
  • microwave available in TV Lounge
  • Access to a full kitchen in the Student Lounge Area

 

Optional Additional Items: Any cooking appliances that do not have an open heating coil, a few microwave-safe dishes, small refrigerator, microwave, eating utensils, hot pad, beverage container, seasonings, small food storage bags or plastic/Tupperware containers, can opener, dish detergent, sponge, dish towel, placemat, air freshener

 

Mark Allen Hall

$1,150 per semester

All rooms are doubles with twin XL beds. Each student resident has:

  • 2- 2 drawer dressers chests
  • 3-drawer desk with bookshelf with chair
  • Free-standing wardrobe closet
  • microwave available in laundry rooms and TV room
  • Access to a full kitchen in the Student Lounge Area

Residence Towers

$1,900 per semester

Bedroom suites are accessible via a community living/dining area and kitchenette. Each

bedroom suite is equipped with its own bathroom. (Residents must supply their own TP) Residents are responsible

for cleaning the before-mentioned areas. Basic cleaning supplies and tools are provided on request.

Each community counter area has:

  • Small refrigerator, sink, microwaves, and lockable cupboards with small padlock hasps

(Microwave also available in Lobby Office area/first, second, and third floor, and laundry

room)

Each community living/dining area includes:

  • Couch and loveseat
  • Two lounge chairs
  • A coffee table and two end tables
  • Two lamps
  • TV & TV stand/cabinet
  • 5’ dining table with chairs

Each bedroom suite and bathroom include:

  • Two tall beds
  • 4 freestanding wardrobes with small padlock hasps
  • Two three-drawer chests and six two-drawer
  • 4 desks with small padlock hasps on middle drawer
  • There is a 29-inch high space under the loft beds that can fit a small refrigerator
  • Two sinks with storage in bathroom, one sink in the West D suites
  • A shower
  • Commode (The first roll of toilet paper will be provided. Students will be required to

purchase their own subsequent rolls.)

$1,150 per semester

Meal Plan and Housing Requirements

All residential students are required to purchase a declining balance meal plan which ranges from $500-$4500 per semester.
Students must also be 18 by 45th day of semester to live in an on-campus residence hall.
The $150 reservation deposit must be paid with the submission of this application and will be returned to applicant upon dorm checkout minus any damage or fee charges.
This deposit may be reimbursed from scholarships or Financial Aid. Application is “not active” without submission of deposit.
Room and board costs must be paid on the first day of Hall check-in at the beginning of each semester or your room reservation will be cancelled.
Students who cancel a residence hall reservation on or before the day the residence halls open will be eligible for a full refund of room costs. Students who cancel or move out of a residence hall by the close of registration will be eligible for a 50% refund of room costs. There is no refund of housing cost after the end of registration.
