Your Key to Campus

A student ID is available to all full-time Eastern Arizona College students enrolled in 12 or more credits, beginning the day dorms open. To qualify, tuition must be paid in full, or a payment plan must be successfully established.

Part-time students taking fewer than 12 credits per semester are not eligible for an ID card.

  • Photo Requirements

All student ID photos must meet the same standards as a passport or visa photo, as outlined by the U.S. State Department:

    • The photo should be recent (taken within the last six months), in color, clear, and in focus, with even lighting and no shadows.
    • Your face should be fully visible and centered, with shoulders square to the camera and no tilting of the head.
    • A neutral expression or natural smile is required, and both eyes must be open.
    • Have someone else take the picture—selfies are not permitted.
    • Use a plain white or off-white background.
    • Remove eyeglasses, hats, scarves, headphones, masks, or other accessories.
    • The image should be cropped from just above the head to just below the shoulders, with a shirt or blouse visible.
    • Do not use filters or alter the image in any way that changes identifiable facial features.

Using Your EA Mobile ID
  • Do I still need my physical Student ID Card?

We recommend you retain your physical Student ID
card in a secure location as a back-up should you lose a device.

  • Can I still use my physical Student ID once I have created my Mobile ID?

Yes, your physical Student ID Card will continue to
function after you have added your EAC Mobile ID to
your device. Remember, your Mobile ID is a privilege
and benefit of being part of the EAC community.
Anyone found to be misusing their physical card
or Mobile ID will be subject to the applicable Code
of Conduct or HR policies regarding fraud and/or
    misconduct.

  • How do I update information on my EAC Mobile ID?

Name information on the EAC Mobile ID comes to us
from the university’s core business systems and needs
    to be updated there.
    • Students should contact the Registration Office.
    • Faculty and staff should contact their HR
    representative to request updates.
Once changes are completed, the updates will sync to
the EAC Mobile ID on your phone within 48 hours.

  • I am graduating or leaving the College. What happens to my Mobile ID?

As with your physical student ID Card your Mobile
ID will become inactive when you no longer meet
eligibility requirements. If you transfer to another
participating program or department at EAC, your
credential will stay active and update accordingly.

Mobile ID App and Account Access
Account Balances and Transactions
  • Why are my account balances not displaying?

Account balances may not display for several reasons:

    • Account balances are currently only displayed on Apple & Samsung Galaxy devices.
    • If your account balances are $0, they will not display until funds are added.

If you have available funds that are not displaying, please contact the Business Administration Office.

    Call: E-mail

  • Why do I have a negative balance on my EA Mobile ID account?

A negative balance can occur if you make a transaction when a retail device is offline.

When the device comes back online and the transaction is posted, you will see a negative balance if there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction.

  • Why is my balance different on my EA Mobile ID app than in eAccounts?

Confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode or experiencing any other service interruption.

Updates cannot be made when there is no connecting service
to sync data between eAccounts and your device.

The eAccount will display the most current information.

EA has great value. I have actually loved to write which I despised as a high schooler, thanks to my professor at EA.
