Student ID

Full-time students enrolled in 12 or more credits may receive a student ID card beginning the day dorms open. To qualify, tuition must be paid in full or a payment plan successfully established.

Part-time students taking fewer than 12 credits per semester are not eligible for an ID card.

Cost and Replacement

Each student receives one free ID card per academic year. If the card is lost, a replacement may be purchased for a $10 fee.

Photo Submission and Pickup

Photos for ID cards may be submitted online at any time through the myEAC portal. Once approved, the card will be ready for pickup at the Business Administration Department in the Student Services Building one business day later.

Requirements

All student ID photos must meet the same standards as a passport or visa photo, as outlined by the U.S. State Department:

  • The photo should be recent (taken within the last six months), in color, clear and in focus, with even lighting and no shadows.
  • Your face should be fully visible and centered, with shoulders square to the camera and no tilting of the head.
  • A neutral expression or natural smile is required, and both eyes must be open.
  • Have someone else take the picture—selfies are not permitted.
  • Use a plain white or off-white background.
  • Remove eyeglasses, hats, scarves, headphones, masks, or other accessories.
  • The image should be cropped from just above the head to just below the shoulders, with a shirt or blouse visible.
  • Do not use filters or alter the image in any way that changes identifiable facial features.

Additional Requirements

  • Religious or medical head coverings are allowed if worn daily and do not obscure facial features.
  • Do not submit a photo of another photo.
  • Do not wear a hat, mask, sunglasses, hoodie, headphones, or other accessories.
  • No inappropriate expressions or gestures
  • Hair and shadows should not obscure face or eyes
  • No other people or objects in the photo

Changing Your Photo

Once a photo has been approved and saved in the system, it cannot be replaced.

If Your Photo Is Rejected

If your photo is rejected, you will receive an email explaining why, along with instructions to correct the issue before resubmitting.
