The EAC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of a national and statewide network of small business assistance providers. Our main goal is to give local small businesses the tools and training to be successful. We are funded by Eastern Arizona College with assistance from a grant provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
All counseling at the EAC Small Business Development Center is free! The approach is tailor-made, confidential, and person-to-person. Our services can help you make the most of business opportunities, solve existing problems, anticipate future problems, and improve management skills.
We provide counseling services to clients through a state network team of SBDC business counselors. Our network of counselors are experienced professionals who can provide assistance in a wide variety of special areas of running a business. Our counselors’ expertise includes importing, exporting, clean technology, patents, international trade, veteran-owned businesses, technology transfer, and more.
The SBDC offers workshops and seminars providing hands-on training in areas such as business planning, record-keeping, marketing, advertising, computer usage, and personnel management. Training can give owners and managers tools to analyze and resolve business challenges.
The SBDC can provide customized training for your employees at your location or ours. Training in sales, customer service, bookkeeping, business legal environment, personnel and human resource issues, as well as other topics are available.
