Eastern Arizona College’s Art Department will showcase the creativity and technical skill of its emerging artists during the 2026 Student Juried Art Show, on display March 9–27 in the Activities Center Lobby.
The exhibition features a diverse collection of student work spanning drawing, painting, graphic design, and mixed media. The show highlights original pieces created by EA students under the guidance of EA associate art professors Holt Brasher and EA graphic design professor Jeff Henley.
A public reception and awards ceremony will be held Wednesday, March 11, from 5–7 p.m. in the Activities Center Lobby. The event is free and open to the public.
The juried show provides students with the opportunity to present their work in a professional exhibition setting while receiving formal recognition for outstanding pieces. Awards will be presented during the March 11 reception.
“This exhibition celebrates the dedication, growth, and creative voice of our students,” said Brasher. “Each piece represents hours of study, experimentation, and personal expression.”
Henley added that the show also gives students valuable real-world experience.
“Participating in a juried exhibition prepares students for professional opportunities beyond the classroom,” Henley said. “It challenges them to refine their work and present it with confidence.”
The 2026 Student Juried Art Show will be on display through March 27 during regular campus hours. Community members are encouraged to attend the reception, meet the student artists, and view the award-winning work.
