THATCHER, Ariz.— Eastern Arizona College (EA) is thrilled to announce the next installment of its Visiting Writers Series, featuring bestselling author Jennifer Griffith. The reading/talk will take place on March 5, 2024, at 3 p.m., in Academic Programs Building Room #269. All students, staff, faculty, and community members are cordially invited to attend this free event.

During the talk titled, “So You’ve Written a Book, What’s Next?” Griffith will share insights and advice on navigating the post-writing phase of the publishing journey. As a USA Today bestselling author and recipient of the Swoony Award twice, Griffith brings a wealth of experience in both traditional and independent publishing. Her talk promises to be enlightening and inspiring for aspiring writers, seasoned authors, and anyone interested in the world of publishing.

Ken Raines, English professor at EA and the host of the Visiting Writers Series, expressed his enthusiasm for Griffith’s participation, stating, “Jennifer is an excellent example of someone successfully navigating the new face of the publishing game. About the Speaker:
Jennifer Griffith is a prolific author with over fifty novels to her name. She has successfully published works in both traditional and independent avenues, garnering recognition for her storytelling. Griffith holds a degree in English/Technical Writing and Japanese from Utah State University. Before embarking on her writing career, she worked as a writer for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Griffith’s transition to writing Hallmark-like Christmas novels and romantic comedies from home has further solidified her status as a beloved author, while allowing her to work from home and raise her family.
