THATCHER, Ariz. — Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is excited to invite the community to nominate exceptional small businesswomen from Gila, Graham, and Greenlee counties for the prestigious Small Businesswoman of the Year Awards. The deadline for nominations is October 1, 2024.

This year, a winner will be selected from each county, with the top ten nominees honored at the SBDC’s Small Businesswoman of the Year Awards Ceremony. The winners will each receive $2,000, generously sponsored by Freeport-McMoRan.

Awards Ceremony Dates:

• Gila County: Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Cobre Valley Recreation Center.
• Graham and Greenlee Counties: Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Eastern Arizona College Activities Center.
