Easy Enrollment Steps

Eastern Arizona College Welcomes You!

Step 1: Get Admitted

A. Apply online – it’s free!

B. Send an official transcript

Official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school or previous college. Please send transcripts to:

C. Upload Identification

Go to MyEAC and click: My Documents > Upload Documents

Step 2: Prepare Your Payment Methods

A. Complete your FAFSA

Every student should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to unlock access to Pell grants, veteran funding, work-study jobs, and scholarships.

  • Opens December 1.
  • EAC’s code is 001073.

B. Apply for EAC Scholarships
  • Academic: based on academic excellence
  • Athletic and Performing Arts: based on performance, selected by coaches and directors
Items required for a complete scholarship application:
  • Official high school transcripts (or unofficial college transcripts), a personal essay, and two letters of recommendation.
  • Complete your FAFSA by March 1.

C. Waivers
Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
  • Students from these states are eligible for discounted tuition: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, and Guam.
New Mexico Tuition Waiver
  • New Mexico residents may be eligible for in-state tuition rates.

D. Manage Payment Methods

MyEAC contains all your financial aid information including scholarships and financial aid.

Step 3: Register for Classes

A. Placement Evaluation

To prepare to meet with an advisor, please submit:

  • Official high school transcripts and/or
  • ACT or SAT scores

Once we receive your transcripts, the Testing Center will determine whether you are ready to enroll in classes or if you need to take a placement assessment.

B. Meet with an Advisor

Our advisors help you identify your academic goal and develop an educational plan to achieve it. Having a plan makes it easier to choose your classes each semester and may save you time and money.

Step 4: Pay for Classes

A. Pay tuition and fees

Classes must be secured by payment prior to each semester. Funds due can be paid at once or with a payment plan.

B. Set up a payment plan

If you’d like to make payments on your balance, it’s easy to set up a monthly payment plan.

  • Go to MyEAC and click: My Financial Aid > My Billing & Payments
C. Select a refund option

If you’re expecting a credit balance, visit MyEAC and click on My Billing & Payments to sign up for direct deposit. Otherwise, funds will be sent via check to the address on file.
