What can I do with a degree in Health and Physical Education?

The Associate of Arts in Health and Physical Education  meets the requirements for the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s program at Arizona’s public, and many other, universities. You can transfer with junior status after building a strong academic foundation in classes offered at an extremely affordable tuition cost. You are encouraged to work closely with an academic adviser and consult the official transfer guide to ensure you are on the correct course to maximize course transferability.

If you are interesting in coaching, this is the degree for you! Coaches need some formal education and knowledge of the sport. Coaches can gain this knowledge through their own personal experiences playing the sport or by job shadowing qualified coaches. The Health and Physical Education degree exposes students to the underlying principles of coaching and prepares students to further their education in sports science, kinesiology, health and wellness, or health and physical education.
