Biological Science Associate of Science (AS)
Preparation for transfer to a bachelor’s program in a life science or secondary science
education.
An integrated course dealing with both plants and animals, related to our environment
from molecule to biosphere. A liberal studies course for non-science majors with an
emphasis on contemporary issues.
Study of the structure and function of the human body. Topics include cells, tissues,
integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system.
