All members of Eastern Arizona College’s Title IX team (Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, Informal Resolution Facilitators and Advisors) receive annual trainings which include the following topics:
The College utilizes outsourced Decision-makers, and those decision-makers will receive annual training on any technology to be used at a live hearing and on issues of relevance of questions and evidence, including when questions and evidence about the complainant’s sexual predisposition or prior sexual behavior are not relevant.
Investigators will receive annual training on issues of relevance to create an investigative report that fairly summarizes relevant evidence.
Any materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process, must not rely on sex stereotypes, and must promote impartial investigations and adjudications of formal complaints of sexual harassment.
The Title IX Regulations, 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10), require all Recipients to post training slides used to satisfy the Title IX Regulations’ training requirements to Eastern Arizona College’s website. The following materials represent the materials received and used for these trainings. The materials posted to this site are proprietary and are copyrighted.
