Mathematics Welcome

Mathematics can be rightly called “the intellect’s most extreme sport”
because it’s one of the most rigorous and demanding of all intellectual
pursuits. For some students, that’s reason enough to major in mathematics.
Yet it also helps you to argue logically and rigorously, think abstractly, formulate
and solve problems, analyze data, and create and analyze mathematical models.
We encourage you to join us in the Division of Mathematics at EAC. We will
provide you with an educational experience that will be stimulating,
challenging, and ultimately rewarding.

Mathematics Student Experience

“I like the way the math department
keeps tutors available throughout
the day to help.”

“He is the best math teacher I have
ever had and I look forward to taking
his Calculus I course next semester”

“The instructors in the EAC math
         department have been very helpful,
and always seem to have the time to
     answer questions. They have made
the classes easy to understand. I would
recommend this school and the math
department here to any students that
want to start off their college education.”

“I feel very prepared now to transfer to a larger university.”
