Gila Hank’s Booster Club donates streaming equipment to EAC Athletics Department

Gila Hank’s Booster Club recently donated new state-of-the-art streaming equipment to Eastern Arizona College’s Athletic Department. The new streaming system allows fans to view Gila Monster games from all over the world.

“We’ve donated enough equipment to stream two events at once,” said Bruce Warner, president of Gila Hank’s Booster Club. “The system will allow a viewer to go to YouTube and choose which game they want to view. Or better yet, watch two games at one time!”

The heart of the streaming system is the Yolobox which is a compact streaming computer that is smaller than many tablets. Four high definition cameras were also donated along with two headset microphones, and two wireless transmitter/receiver combos that work with remote cameras to enhance viewing.

“Gila Hank’s Booster Club was formed to support Gila Monster athletics,” said Warner. “We have student athletes from all over the country and the world. The equipment will allow family and friends to watch them play live. We wanted to do this to make the experience available to everyone. This is a large part of what we want to do for our community.”
