Presented by the entire Fine Arts Division, the Festival of Carols is EAC’s musical gift to the Gila Valley. This festive evening will feature performances by EAC’s choirs (A Cappella Choir, GilaSoul Singers, Resonus, Show Choir, Symphonic Choir, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble), bands (Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band), and the Symphony Orchestra, along with contributions from theatre students. A lively audience sing-along will add to the evening’s holiday cheer, creating a fun and heartwarming experience for all.

“This is one of the events that we look forward to the most to share with the Gila Valley,” said Gideon Burrows, EAC choir director. “We hope to add to the magic and wonder of the holiday season.”

A beloved tradition in its 89th year at EAC, Handel’s Messiah will feature the A Cappella Choir, Resonus, Symphony Orchestra, and the annual “Messiah Choir,” which includes community members and alumni. Soloists from EAC and the Gila Valley will lend their voices to this powerful oratorio, first performed in Dublin in 1742.
