Diesel Technician Certificate Program

Eastern Arizona College’s Diesel Technician Certificate Program is your gateway to a thriving career in the diesel mechanics industry. This program will give you the expertise and hands-on experience demanded by employers, setting you apart from the competition. The focus of this certificate is on off-highway Caterpillar equipment. Additionally, this certificate will help prepare you for ASE Diesel certification tests.

Where is the program offered?

All classes are offered at Eastern Arizona College’s Thatcher Campus in the William Bone Industrial Technology Education Center located at 401 N. Stadium Avenue in Thatcher, Arizona.

What careers can I get with the Diesel Technician Certificate?

Students who complete the certificate are qualified for careers as diesel mechanics or technicians.

How long is each course?

Each course consists of 64 hours of instruction.

How long does it take to complete the program?

You can complete the certificate program in one year.

How much does the program cost?

Tuition: Eastern Arizona College’s in-state tuition is $98 per credit hour. The high school/dual enrollment tuition is $70 per credit hour. Out-of-state tuition for non-residents is $398 per credit hour.
