Constitution Day

Constitution Day is also known as Citizenship Day.  This is a U.S. federally observed holiday, that honors the adoption of the United States Constitution and all those who have become citizens by birth or naturalization.  This is usually observed on September 17th of each calendar year.

Dr. Gary Sorensen, Dean of Students and ASEAC Advisor states, “We feel it is essential to demonstrate to our students the importance of the Constitution, that is why each year at this time, we bring an expert in the study of the Constitution to share their passion for this blueprint of democracy.”
