EAC Bachelor's Degrees

Coming Fall 2024

Eastern Arizona College is currently pursuing accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree and a Bachelor of Music Education degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree is the prefect way for students with a health-related associate's degree prepare for careers in healthcare leadership.

The Bachelor of Music Education degree prepares students for teaching in elementary and secondary schools.

Both degrees will offer the same value of a university degree but at a fraction of the cost.

Pending approval from the Higher Learning Commission, it is anticipated that students can begin registering for these programs in March 2024.

The Bachelor of Music Education

Total Credits – 120 credit hours

The Bachelor of Music Education degree prepares students for teaching in elementary and secondary schools. A degree in music education from Eastern Arizona College means you will be the one guiding others how to appreciate, perform, and share music in their lives. Our award-winning faculty have experience spanning all ages and grade levels and will prepare you to take on the wonderful challenge of teaching music to others.

The degree will have choral and instrumental tracks and will lead to a secondary education certificate.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is the perfect way for students with a health-related associate degree to increase their marketability. This degree will prepare students for careers in healthcare leadership, healthcare practice, or schooling in the pursuit of professional degrees. Rural areas around the country, and certainly within our service area, are constantly faced with staffing issues because of the lack of qualified personnel for healthcare leadership roles. This is an innovative program that will, in alignment with the College’s mission, prepare students to thrive in the complex and ever-changing world of healthcare.
