COVID-19

Thanks to your diligence throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, EAC remained a safe place to work hard and achieve your educational goals.

In coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and state and local health departments, EAC has updated its measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic:

Vaccines : EAC strongly urges members of its campus community to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Testing : If you have COVID-19 symptoms, we recommend that you get tested.

Regular Self-Screening : Please regularly self-monitor for any symptoms related to COVID-19. We encourage students, faculty, and staff with signs or symptoms of infectious illness to stay home when sick and/or seek medical care.

Masks
: People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.

Physical Distancing : In general, CDC recommends people who are not up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines should continue to practice physical distancing, especially if they are at higher risk of getting very sick with COVID-19.

Hygiene : Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

Disinfecting : Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces can reduce the risk of infection. Please continue to keep workspaces clean and disinfected.

Residence Halls: EAC has quarantine spaces available for on-campus students who contract COVID-19. Please contact Candee Skousen at candee.skousen@eac.edu or (928) 428-8354 for more information.

We will continually monitor state and local guidance related to COVID-19 and will update these measures as appropriate.
