The Office of Student Financial Aid’s mission is to provide Eastern Arizona College (EAC) student’s, prospective, current, and past, with prompt, accurate and courteous financial aid assistance.
To help students meet the financial obligations of college attendance, Eastern Arizona College administers a varied and comprehensive financial aid program. Financial aid is designed to bridge the gap between the costs of attending college and what students and their families are expected to contribute. Citizens, or eligible non-citizens of the United States, may apply for assistance regardless of sex, age, color, religion, marital status, national origin, pregnancy related conditions, handicap, or veteran disability.
There are four basic types of financial aid: Grants, Employment, Loans, and Scholarships. Please be aware that EAC does not participate in any Federal Student Loan programs. Students may obtain a Private educational loan through a bank or student loan company, but the student must seek out these types of loans on their own. A complete description of these programs is available on line at: www.studentaid.ed.gov. If you still have unanswered questions you can call the Federal information number at 1-800-4FED-AID (1-800-433-3243).
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) (also known as the Buckley Amendment) limits access to education records without express written consent. If you would like to give another person access to your confidential information please contact the Registrar’s Office and request a release of information form. This form must be on file at EAC before any confidential information is released.
