Media Communications

Eastern Arizona College’s media communications degree and certificate programs provide well-rounded, hands-on learning at the highest level, including working in studios with state-of-the-art equipment and the latest software used in the film industry. You’ll engage in classes on the topics of cinema, documentary, cinematography, video editing, audio mixing, and screenwriting to become a creative storyteller. Our popular Media Club gives students the opportunity to create their own projects and serve in the community — creating resume-boosting commercials and short documentaries for local business. Second-year students create a capstone project which is entered into film festivals. You’re invited to visit campus to tour our studios, meet current media communication students and faculty, and explore how our program will help you meet your goals — whether that’s transferring to a four-year bachelor’s program or building skills to take straight to the workforce.
