Thatcher, AZ—Members of Eastern Arizona College’s Intertribal Club gathered last week to carry out its spring service project. This year, the project centered around the main crosswalk between North and Middle Campus on Church Street.
Students spent the afternoon repainting the lines of the crosswalk as well as the red zones around it. “Completion of this project serves a two-fold purpose,” explains James Pryor, EAC counselor and adviser for the College’s Intertribal Club. “One, the project will beautify the area; and two, the project will make the crosswalks and surrounding area more visible, thereby reducing the potential for pedestrian accidents.”
