EAC theatre students present All in the Timing
By Jeanné Clark
THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Theatre Department is presenting four performances of All in the Timing, a collection of short comedic plays, on April 29 & 30, and May 1, at 7:30 p.m. and May 2, at 2 p.m., all in South Campus Room #3.
“This is a theatrical event composed of six short plays, each under ten minutes,” says the play’s director and EAC theatre instructor, Dr. Dan Robbins. “The humor ranges from a ‘Groundhog Day’ encounter between a young man and young lady at a bistro; three chimps trying to write Hamlet; an absurdist look at the death of Trotsky; a new language that mixes old words into new meanings; a man caught in a ‘Twilight Zone’ existence; and finally, a bizarre ‘musical’ satirizing the minimalist style of composer Philip Glass.”
“Do you need a good laugh?” asks Robbins. “As the great comics always say, ‘it’s all in the timing.’” Admission price for All in the Timing is $5/adult and $3/child. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling EAC’s Ticket Office at 428-8228.
