Thatcher, AZ— Eastern Arizona College is pleased to offer a late-start class, HHP100, Section #1334, PERSONAL HEALTH, with associate professor, Senecca Stromberg, is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Feb. 20, and will meet from 1-1:50 p.m., in South ampus Classroom #1B, through the end of the semester (May 9, 2019).
This class meets the general education requirements for Diversity and Inclusion and Social Sciences for graduation, and it is transferable. Students will gain an understanding of health issues related to their well-being. Topics covered include: health and disease, ways of maintaining and improving one’s health, preventing disorders, and understanding common diseases.
To take this class, student must have taken ENG 091 and passed with a grade of “C” or higher or reading placement test score as established by District policy.
“We will discuss alcohol, recreational drugs, and global health concerns,” said Senecca. “You will be given the tools to help you make choices that lead to a happy and healthy life!”
