Engineering Department Assistant |  Adult Education

Location: Math/Science Building

The Engineering Department Assistant supports the Engineering Department Head by monitoring the classroom, organizing materials, managing social media, advertising, grading homework, testing/designing course projects, and providing support as needed for various Engineering Department and STEM Club activities throughout the year. Grade homework, Manage monster_engineering Instagram, monitor engineering room during student periods and monitor engineering room during STEM Club meetings. Test and design Intro to Engineering and Engineering Day projects, clean and organize NC-1 closet and other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: An engineering student who is an active member of the Engineering Club and previously completed EGR 102, preferably PHY 211 as well. Advance Team | Enrollment Management

The Advance Team is a “hand-picked” group of the best EAC has to offer. In their highly visible role as EAC Student Ambassadors, the Advance Team plays an important part in marketing the College to new students and creating a positive image to the public at large. The electrical and instrumentation professor is in need for a talented, hard working individual that isn’t afraid of doing some work in the classroom and throughout the Industrial Technology building. The ideal candidate will have the E&I certificate, and can be in pursuit of the Electrical associates degree. Duties will include helping with labs with small supervised lab maintenance repair and upkeep, grading papers and tutoring on occasion building and running lab work and small maintenance issues in the building. This position will not require the individual to the maximum earnings of other work study students since the hours are minimal. It will be an excellent opportunity for the selected individual to get some real experience while earning a little walking around money. Math Work Study | Mathematics

The work study student will grade homework and MatLab assignments in MS-102 and the Math Lab (MS-206). He/she will enter the grade in an Excel spreadsheet. While in the Math Lab, the work study student will supervise open lab time, ensure the safety of the computers and other math lab equipment, and report any computer/printer problems to their supervisor. Some other academic tasks as necessary. Homework grading. Must be enrolled in a math class at least above Calculus I.
