Protecting Your Belongings!

  • Do not bring expensive items to school
  • Do not keep large amounts of cash in your room
  • Keep valuables out of sight and locked if possible
  • Engrave large items with your driver's license number and state of issue or student ID number
  • Lock your bike on racks
  • Never leave your room unlocked - your roommate has their own key for access

There will be a lot of people coming and going with boxes, computers, TVs, etc. It is an opportune time for a thief to blend into the crowd and carry out your stuff! As you are making your trips from the parking lot, have someone watch your car and room or lock the doors!
