Call or email us to find out more details about the Music program. We’re happy to answer your questions!
The music department is one of EAC’s finest! EAC draws impressively talented students to our instrumental and choral programs. Our singers and musicians perform with passion and precision.
EAC boasts some of the finest musical groups in Arizona, comparable to those at a major university. In fact, we have Arizona’s only community college marching band, and you can march as a freshman! We invite you to come to a concert, meet with our instructors, and hear for yourself why EAC’s Music department is so highly regarded. Music scholarships are available, too! We hope you join us.
The Associate of Arts degree in Music meets the requirements for the first two years of a bachelor’s degree from a music department at a university. You must take four semesters of applied music instruction and make satisfactory progress in either voice or a major instrument. Please consult the official transfer guide to tailor your curriculum, since degree requirements differ between universities.
The Music program offers an instrumental, piano or vocal emphasis. In addition to private instruction, you must also enroll in a minimum of one ensemble per semester. Choose from Marching Band, Women’s Chorale, Symphonic Choir, A Cappella Choir, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra.
