Holds 50th reunion

Members of the Class of 1948 came together on May 8, 1998, to renew friendships and catch up on 50 years of news and memories.

Class members began their reunion at the Layton House-Ruby I. Stinson Alumni Center. Reunion participants toured the campus to see the changes that have occurred since they attended Gila Junior College. EAC Alumni Association President Bill Reed greeted the class during a luncheon in their honor.

That evening, class members attended the annual Alumni Banquet at the EAC Activities Center. The Class of 1948 was honored for their loyalty and interest in Eastern Arizona College and the Class of 1998 was welcomed into the Alumni Association. Participants attended the EAC Commencement Exercises held in the Guitteau Gymnasium to complete the day's events.
