Coach Hekekia Era Reunion

It's kind of hard to imagine EAC without Coach Hekekia. It seems that Eastern Arizona Volleyball and Hekekia are one in the same. He has played such a big part in so many of our lives and has left us with wonderful memories.

Wouldn't it be fun if each one of us that has had the privilege to play for Coach could return for a reunion to relive and share these memories and honor him?

Our last home game is on Saturday, October 28, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. vs. Pima Community College. We would like to have a meal and get-together after the game. We could also try a game among the alumni after the meal (For those of us who think we're in any kind of shape).

Also, after brainstorming, a few of us have concluded that a plaque, pen set, watch, etc. would probably not be as useful or appreciated as a golf club. We would have something significant engraved on it.

We also would like to put together a memory book to give to coach. All you need to do is write down some memories, stories, things that have left an impression, or whatever you would like. Feel free to use photos and decorate as you wish. Just remember to bring your page (or pages) with you.
