EAC welcomes a new chemistry instructor

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Science Division will welcome a new instructor to the Chemistry Department this fall. Duane DeSpain, of Safford, will begin his tenure at EAC by teaching a full schedule of classes, including General Chemistry and Introduction to General, Organic, and Biological Chemistry.

DeSpain taught science and math at Safford High School for 13 years before returning to the University of Arizona to earn his Master’s degree in chemistry. Prior to that, he worked as a laboratory technologist at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center.

Fall 2013 classes begin on August 19, and registration can be accomplished through the second day of class. For a complete listing of DeSpain’s classes, visit www.eac.edu.
