EAC seeks vendors for career/job fair

By Lori Dugan

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Job Placement Office is pleased to announce that it will cohost a career/job fair in conjunction with the College’s new student orientation program, Monster Bridge, on August 16, 23013, from 9 a.m. to Noon in the College’s Activities Center. The career fair is being cosponsored by Arizona Workforce Connection.

“We expect a large number of attendees to the fair because both our students, and members of the community are invited, “ says Gayrene Claridge, EAC’s Job Placement and Occupational Advisor, and coordinator of the fair. “Now I need to encourage businesses and employers to join us!”

Claridge says that the benefits of setting up a booth at the fair are several, including increased exposure, a chance to screen candidates and collect resumes, as well as conduct on-site job interviews.

“There is absolutely no cost to participate,” she says. “And vendors will receive one, six-foot table and two chairs.” For more information about the career/job fair, contact Kimberly Tremain, Business Developer/Outreach Coordinator at Arizona Workforce Connection, at (920) 432-6932 or by email at ktermain@cpic-cas.org.
