Thatcher, AZ—The work of several of Eastern Arizona College’s Graphic Design students is currently on display inside the Fine Arts Auditorium. The theme for this show is, “Graphic Design Students Past and Present.”

“The work was created by students enrolled in the Eastern Arizona College Graphic Design Program,” says Tom Cicchelli, EAC’s Graphic Design instructor. “Students produced self-portraits from photographs taken in class and using Adobe Illustrator software created vector art work. The portraits were then placed in a fantasy environment of the students’ choosing.”

The EAC Graphic Design Program is designed to provide students with the skills needed to start a career in graphic design and to be prepared to enter the work force as entry level designers or production artists. “No matter what direction a student may want to pursue in graphic design, this program can prepare them with the skills they will need,” said Cicchelli.

The show will remain on display until the end of the semester. For more information on the show or graphic design program contact Cicchelli at (928) 428-8470.
