Discovery Park Campus lecture series presents “Planetary Weather in our Solar System”

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Discovery Park Campus welcomes Tracie Bueden, of the Desert SkyGazers Astronomy Club, for an exciting presentation entitled, “Planetary Weather in our Solar System,” on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in the Jupiter Room of EAC’s Discovery Park Campus. Bueden’s presentation will include a fascinating PowerPoint display with photographs and descriptions of the diverse planets and entities that make up what we call our Solar System. “Come and join us for an exhilarating presentation on the wonders and mysteries of the planetary weather of our Solar System,” says DPC campus director, Paul Anger. “This is a lecture you don’t want to miss! And don’t forget to come and see the new Graham County Historical Society Museum display, with lots of interesting artifacts from Graham County’s past!” This presentation is suitable for all ages and families. There will be tours of the Gallery and “History of Astronomy,” Space Shuttle “Polaris” simulator rides, as well as a public viewing of night sky objects through the 20-inch telescope.
