By Lexi Lee
Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College and Arizona State University invite students interested in the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) in Organizational Studies and Bachelors of Science (BS) in Nursing degrees to attend an “Information and Registration” event on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 5-7 p.m., in EAC’s High Tech Center-Computer Commons.
This come-and-go event will allow students to talk to ASU and EAC representatives, and to have any questions answered about the ASU degrees being offered on EAC’s Campus.
The BIS in Organizational Studies degree program is for those interested in business, government, nonprofit, health care, or service industries. Management styles, communication strategies, technologies, diversity, and ethics and politics in organizations, are the main focus of this degree. Students with an associate of arts (AA) or associate of science (AS) degree are encouraged to explore this option.
The BS in Nursing program, known as the RN-BSN, is open to students who already possess an associate degree in Nursing, have passed the NCLEX-RN exam, and have obtained licensure as a registered nurse in Arizona. Students currently enrolled in blocks 3 or 4 at EAC may also apply to this program and take their baccalaureate coursework concurrently.
