Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Spring Musical, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers , will be performed from April 11-14, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. in the EAC fine arts auditorium.

This musical takes place in 1850s Oregon, and follows the story of Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, who goes into town to find a wife. This burly backwoodsman finds Milly, and after convincing her to marry him, he brings her back to his farm. Upon meeting their brother’s wife, the six men decide they each need a wife too.

“As Milly tries to civilize these six unruly brothers, Adam develops a foolproof plan, all they need to do is kidnap the women they want!” explains Trish Jordahl, EAC’s Musical Theatre director and Fine Arts Division chair. “Come enjoy this great show, it’s an all-time favorite in the American musical theatre repertoire.”

Admission for 7 Brides for 7 Brothers is $5 per person. Full-time EAC students and faculty will be admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling EAC’s Ticket Office at (928) 428-8228.
