EAC invites community to its ASU Partnership Kickoff Celebration
By Lori Dugan
Thatcher, AZ— Eastern Arizona College and Arizona State University have established a new partnership to offer high-demand bachelor’s degrees at EAC. An EAC-ASU Partnership Kickoff Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 11 a.m., in the EAC Fine Arts Auditorium. The entire community is warmly invited to attend.
Speakers will include EAC President Mark Bryce and ASU President Michael Crow, and representatives from ASU will be available to answer questions about the application process, reduced tuition rates, and degree programs which, beginning in fall 2012, will include a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Studies and Nursing.
“This event will celebrate the historic alliance between our respective institutions and demonstrate our shared commitment to higher education in the Gila Valley and the state at large,” said Bryce. “We are excited to work together to give students the opportunity to earn select bachelor’s degrees from ASU at EAC and to provide a new and innovative model for degree completion in Arizona.”
Come and enjoy music from EAC’s Fine Arts Division and a brief program as we roll out this historic new alliance in Arizona’s 100th year.
