EAC’s SBDC presents Juggling the Big Needs of a Small Business

By Lexi Heninger

Thatcher, AZ— Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a seminar entitled Juggling the Big Needs of a Small Business on Thursday, December 8, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. This seminar will be held at 3 Sisters Bakery, located at 113 SE Old Highway in Duncan. There is a $20 registration fee for each attendee.

Geared towards business owners and their administrative staff, this seminar will cover a broad range of topics including marketing, accounting, human resources, and time management; as well as the low- or no-cost resources that are out there.

“Small business owners wear many hats and often do not have the necessary support staff there to help,” says EAC SBDC counselor Charmaine Chidester. “The ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ philosophy can leave entrepreneurs feeling short-handed, burnt out, and lacking in resources.”

“Organization and prioritization are key,” adds SBDC administrative assistant Julie Davis. “Attendees will leave with real tools they can implement the next day to help their business look like they have a full support staff even if they don’t.”

For more information, or to register, call the EAC Small Business Development Center at (928) 428-8590 or visit: www.eac.edu/sbdc for more information.
