Single day GED test in December
By Todd Haynie
Thatcher, AZ—EAC’s Counseling Department is offering its second single-day GED test on Saturday, December 11, 2010. The eight-hour test will cost $70.
“We offered this one-day test back in October and it was so popular we decided to offer additional dates,” says Jerri Lukens, EAC’s evaluation technician. “This format is geared especially for people who work full-time and can’t take two days off work or for those whose commute to campus would put undue strain on their resources for a two day commute.”
Beginning in 2011, EAC will offer Saturday GED testing once each month. Candidates should call Lukens at (928) 428-8491 to pre-register to take the GED test. Space is limited, so those wishing to register are advised not to wait.
All candidates must be at least 16 years of age and complete pre-registration paperwork, present two forms of ID, and pre-pay the $70 testing fee for full GED testing by the deadline for that test date in order to test. See EAC’s website for more information: www.eac.edu/Student_Services/Counseling/Testing.asp. Once payment is made there are no refunds.
For more information or to register to take the GED test, call Lukens at (928) 428-8491, or toll free: (800) 678-3808 ext. 8491. GED preparation classes are offered at the EAC Discovery Park campus; call (928) 428-6260 for more information.
