Storyteller Layne Gneiting on campus Halloween weekend

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Speech Communications Department will host storyteller and EAC favorite Layne Gneiting for two events on Halloween weekend. Both are family-friendly and free to the public.

First up, on Friday, October 29, Gneiting will perform some of his most-loved stories in a special Halloween event in the Lee Little Theatre at the EAC Activities Center at 7 p.m.

“This will be a fun Halloween event,” says Lee Russell, head of EAC’s Speech Communications Department. “Come in a costume and get a treat, without a costume you may be asked to do a trick on stage!”

Then, on the morning of October 30, Gneiting will conclude the weekend’s events with a 10 a.m. workshop entitled Getting in the Mood: A Storyteller’s Introduction in the Gila/Galiuro room of the EAC Activities Center. There are only 30 seats available for the workshop. So, call Lee Russell in the EAC Speech Communications department at (928) 428-8489 to reserve your spot.
