Single-day GED test October 30
By Todd Haynie
Thatcher, AZ—In addition to its regular monthly GED testing schedule, EAC’s Counseling Department will offer a single-day GED test on Saturday, October 30, 2010. The eight-hour test will cost $70.
“This one-day test is geared especially for people who work full-time and can’t take two days off work,” says Jerri Lukens, EAC’s evaluation technician. “We will begin offering this one-day GED test monthly along with our other two-day testing opportunities, and if it becomes popular, we will offer it more often each month.”
Candidates should call Lukens at (928) 428-8491 to pre-register to take the GED test. Space is limited, so those wishing to register are advised not to wait.
All candidates must be at least 16 years of age and complete pre-registration paperwork, present two forms of ID, and pre-pay the $70 testing fee for full GED testing by the deadline for that test date in order to test. See EAC’s website for more information: www.eac.edu/Student_Services/Counseling/Testing.asp. Once payment is made there are no refunds.
For more information or to register to take the GED test, call Lukens at (928) 428-8491, or toll free: (800) 678-3808 ext. 8491. GED preparation classes are offered at the EAC Discovery Park campus; call (928) 428-6260 for more information.
