EAC Business Department offering classes for the Summer II session

By Jeanné Clark

THATCHER, AZ— Eastern Arizona College’s Business Department is offering two more classes for the Summer II session, one of which is an online class. “These classes are a great way to get a head start on your degree over the summer or to gain valuable skills that will help in the workplace,” says the instructor, Tammy Campbell.

The first of these classes, Introduction to Keyboarding Technique, will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 2:40 p.m. in South Campus Classroom #4. “Students can register for either of the two sections that are offered (AIS 108, section #7034, or CMP 108, section #7035), but both sections will meet for the same class period,” says Campbell. “In this class, students will learn the keyboard and proper keyboarding technique, as well as how to achieve an acceptable typing speed.”

Campbell will also be the instructor for an online class, Microeconomics (BUA 223, section #7036). “This is the first summer that this class has been offered as an online class,” she says. “Students will learn about demand, supply, and equilibrium, the elasticity of supply and demand, consumer behavior and cost, monopolies, labor unions, international finance, and many other topics.”

For more information about any of these classes, contact Campbell at (928) 428-8423. To register for these classes, contact the EAC Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 or register online at www.eac.edu.
